Father’s Day Weekend in Review
Last week was packed with excitement as Epic Entertainment had the opportunity to bring foam parties to two amazing schools: Brennan Woods Elementary and Maple Grove in the Northwest R-1 School District. Both schools treated their students to an unforgettable experience by rotating different grades through the foam party throughout the day. Watching hundreds of kids laugh, run, dance, and play in mountains of foam never gets old. The smiles on their faces are exactly why we do what we do.
Friday night, we attended Father's Night Out at the Cedar Hill VFW Hall, where we had the chance to meet so many wonderful families from the community. Events like these remind me how fortunate we are to serve such an incredible area. If I could afford to bring free entertainment to every community event, I absolutely would.
Many people have asked about our wristband model. While it may eventually be retired, it currently helps offset the cost of supplies and materials so that Epic Entertainment can continue participating in community events while keeping our doors open. The good news is that I'm always brainstorming new ways to bring family-friendly entertainment to local events, and some of those ideas may allow us to offer even more value without additional costs to attendees. Stay tuned—we have some exciting concepts in the works.
On a personal note, I celebrated my very first Father's Day this year, and it was one I'll never forget.
The day started with breakfast at Golden Corral with my girls before heading off to a serving shift at Red Lobster. Afterward, I met up with family at my Papa's house for a backyard BBQ and professional family photos. The entire gathering was coordinated by my sister, Ava, who many of you know as our talented balloon artist. She has an incredible gift for organizing events and bringing people together. Who knows—maybe one day she'll become Epic Entertainment's official event planner for our larger-scale events. She is absolutely phenomenal at what she does, and I'm excited to watch her continue grow, while being fortunate enough to play a small role in her journey as her brother.
To top it all off, the love of my life, Mia, surprised me with the coolest grilling plate I've ever owned and a framed photo of our baby girl. Between family, friends, and all the wonderful events we've been blessed to be a part of, I couldn't have asked for a better first Father's Day.
From school foam parties and community events to family celebrations and new memories, it was a week that reminded me just how blessed I am. Thank you to everyone who continues to support Epic Entertainment. We can't wait to see you at the next event!
